ABOUT Glenda
Glenda Perez-Islas is a newly starting animator and filmmaker from Las Vegas, Nevada. An inspiring animator, Glenda intends to continue creating new and fun short narrative films.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Media – Animation from Nevada State College, and two minors in both art and mathematics. Currently, she is working as a substitute teacher and as a freelance graphic designer.

Awards & Nominations:
In August 2022 her artwork, Cow In Motion (I Am Home)
was presented in The Case of Pastuso Exhibition at Nevada State College.
​
Her film, Take A Chance (2021) was selected at Nevada State College Showcase of the Undergraduate Research and Creative Works Conference April 2022. And, officially selected for the 8th annual Nevada Women's Film Festival, June 2022.

Her film, The Move (2020) was selected at Nevada State College Showcase of the Undergraduate Research and Creative Works Conference April 2021.
